Canvas 8-Ball Pool is a relaxing offline 2D billiards game, which you can pick up and play anytime. Whether you're on the bus, on a break, or just passing time at home, it's great for quick and enjoyable gameplay sessions.

You can play 8-Ball solo against a skilled AI opponent, or you challenge a friend in 2-Player mode. The game follows International 8-Ball rules with slight variation, so there are the usual Fouls & Scratches included.

Choose from a 3 main table colours - red, green, & blue. But you can also choose from 8 more hidden table colours. Just click to find them during a shot & while the pool balls are in motion. For more customization, you can choose from 9 different table mat designs.

The main uploaded version of the game is suited to be played on a tablet, specifically tablets released in the last few years. The game has been tested and runs well on a tablet with 4GB RAM. If you have trouble with the game running at full speed, I have simultaneously created a Lite version of the game, which uses half the resolution, and half the processor calculations for ball movement - and it can can help. The Lite version has been tested and runs well on a tablet with 2GB RAM. I can provide this version to you upon letting me know.

The game can be played on a phone as well, which I have done myself. I would not recommend it unless you really want to. If you do play it on a phone, the in game elements can be tiny and hard to read - but it still is completely playable.

This game is provided as an APK download. While I understand that most people downloading from itch.io will know how to install the game, many people may not. So, if you're installing a game, or app, outside of Google Play, Android may ask you to allow your browser or file manager permission to install apps from an unknown source. This is a normal Android security feature. Once installed, you can go back and disable that permission again if you wish.

So, installation should go something like this:

• Download the APK
  
• Open the downloaded file
• If asked, allow your browser or file manager to install apps from this source
• Complete the installation
• Now you can enjoy the game!

While AI was used to beautify my in game avatar faces, and also to generate the in game voices, it was not used to create the code of the game, nor the rest of the graphics. Being the hopeful perfectionist I am, the close to 20,000 lines of code were painstakingly written over, and over, and over, for almost 2 years.

Screenshots & video have been taken from an, as yet unreleased browser version of the game, so as such, does not show the side power bars used in the APK version, and of which are used to adjust the power of each shot during gameplay - by sliding your finger down and then releasing. This is different in the browser version of the game, where the shot power is adjusted by using the mouse button.

However, apart from the missing power bars, the graphics are identical between the two different versions of the game.
